easyvet McKinney is a veterinarian-owned practice with a close-knit team that genuinely loves what we do (and we’re not afraid to have a little fun while we do it!). Our friendly staff knows our clients and their pets by name so that every pet owner feels like their pet’s care is a partnership. We proudly offer full-service veterinary care, including less common treatments like cruciate surgery and chemotherapy, that makes veterinary care accessible compared to local specialty clinics. Our Team
Dr. Russell Mitchell
Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Mitchell graduated from the University of Missouri Veterinary School in 2000 and has been practicing in the Dallas metroplex ever since. He lives in McKinney (where his family roots go back to 1845) with his wife, two daughters, two cats, a grand-dog, and several chickens and fish.
Dr. Alex Vuong
Veterinarian
Dr. Vuong was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Sugar Land. He moved to Dallas for his undergraduate degree at UT Dallas, and it’s always called him back. He graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2022 and returned to Dallas to practice veterinary medicine.
Dr. Vuong’s professional interests include internal medicine, especially neurology and endocrinology. His favorite animals are his dog, Summer, and his two cats, Mochi and Suki. In his free time, he likes doing tabletop and board gaming and learning new skills. He is excited to meet you and your pet!
